ACETENBOMBER DROPS THE BOMBSQUAD ONTO THE SCENE

Times are always changing and in order to keep up with todays times large companies and business’s are always trying to find new and different ways to advertise their mark weather it be on a billboard sign, side of bus, news flyer, or back of a cars window, advertising is never easy and it can also be very very costly to the average person. In the game of poker advertising isn’t any different from online logo’s, to the everyday pressure of trying to get your name out there by any means possible, while sitting down at the poker you might find yourself discussing a business or marketing idea with a person you have never met before just hoping to find the spark that could one day propel you to the next level. If you ever get the chance to sit down at the table or visit a poker room where you just might see a guy wearing a black hoodie with a logo on his or hers back that say’s BOMB SQUAD then think twice before sitting down and putting your chips at risk, these members not only know how to play but are some of the best at disguising there talents at a poker table, from making a bluff look strong, a comment look passive, a glare seem ready, and a body language that says “if you wanna push” “let’s dance.” But as the old saying goes when the game is over the men will be men and boys will be boys so ask a Bomb Squad member to pass you a business card and who knows this could be the spark that you where looking for to take your game to the next level.

Ladies and gentleman and poker players from all over………I am the AceTenBomber and this is my group of players we like to call the Bomb Squad. I formed the group from my close friends who play poker with me every week and on occasion who attend my poker events. When I thought about advertising and all the different routes from marketing costs and time I needed to find a way that would stand out in a crowd. Well we all know that the Bomber stands out in a crowd so what a better way then to have a group of players dawn the black hoodie and call them selves the Bomb Squad. When I approached the guys about joining the group they where all very excited and wanted to do anything to help get the Bomber brand out there and noticed even more. Well what a great feeling it was to have my close poker buddies represent the Bomber and in return grab some of the lime light themselves. Most business and marketing decisions are hard and risky let alone very expensive, well this one was totally the opposite for me. It was easy, fun and very cost effective but the best part of it all is it was cost effective. The big test for my marketing idea was when myself and the Squad attended the FullTilt Montreal open this year for the Miriam Foundation. Bringing the Squad into a crowd like the one we where about to encounter was going to be a test for most of the members since they are there to represent the Bomber and still play great poker. From the moment we walked threw the front doors of the tourney the buzz was already hitting the roof. The guys saw the attention that the Bomber got but now there was a new attention and the group handled themselves like old pros. They did everything that I had hoped for and carried the Bomber name with pride. Fans approached them with questions and autographs and most wanted to know how to join? We had a mission to get every member into the final day of the tourney and then let the poker gods take it from there. Well mission accomplished and marketing idea a hit. The pressure all week was only on me which was like any kind of new business idea but combine that with trying to win a poker tournament…..never easy!!!

 I am not their “Boss” I am there leader, they are not my “Employees’s” they are my true friends……….I am the AceTenBomber and together we are the Bomb Squad!!!
